Wyoming Public Lands

"The majority of public lands in the United States are held in trust for the American people by the federal government and managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM),. the United States National Park Service, Bureau of Reclamation, or the Fish and Wildlife Service under the Department of the Interior, or the United States Forest Service under the Department of Agriculture. Other federal agencies that manage public lands include the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the United States Department of Defense, which includes the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers" (Public Land, 2017).

Many of you might be aware of the fact that our public lands could become limited here in the very near future. The Wyoming Legislature with come together January 11 to discuss the bill to change wording within the public lands management and access, article 18, section 7. From what I understand, they plan to transfer the land from federal to state control allowing it to be bought with the major possibility of everything we have access to hunt, fish, and recreate on to become limited. Americans like the accessibility to the land how it is now and would not like to have any change to the Public Lands Constitutional Amendment.
