The first thought that comes to the mind when one mentions Jackson Hole, are the Tetons. The Teton Range is 40 miles long in the Rocky Mountains. Its' tallest peak is the Great Teton reaching 13,775 feet or 2.6 miles high. All of the peaks along this mountain range are incredible because of their shear steepness and the fact that they stand alone rising up from the valley floor.
My boyfriend and I took a day trip up to Jackson the other weekend. He has never been there and I have not been since I was in middle school. This winter, Wyoming received more snow then normal leading to areas such as Bondurant, WY to accumulate over 7 feet in February. There was snow still up to the tops of the wire fences running along the road!
On our way back to the truck, I had us do the tourist thing which is to take a picture under the antler shed arches that are located on the four corners of the town square. Next time, we will defiantly have to do some shopping and stop in to the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar to sit on the saddles at the bar. It was a short visit but was a must needed time together. I can't wait for more adventures with my love one.
